Area of expertise
As a practicing vascular and endovascular surgeon, I am able to deal with most vascular conditions. These include open and endovascular repair of abdominal aortic aneurysm repairs, carotid surgery for stroke prevention, leg bypass for claudication utilising both endovascular (keyhole) and open surgery to save legs. I also deal with varicose veins and venous ulcers with my preferred treatment being endovenous laser treatment (EVLT) and foam sclerotherapy. I also run a multidisciplinary diabetic foot clinic to prevent leg amputation. I provide access for orthopaedic spinal and neurosurgeons to undertake complex spinal surgery and run a paediatric vascular surgery clinic.
